61st Annual Remembrance Day Parade and ceremonies in conjunction with the 154th Anniversary of the Gettysburg Address.  This annual event features parade of Civil War reenacting groups, living historians and organizations to the High Water Mark Monument.  Form up 12 PM on Lefever Street (Gettysburg Middle School). Parade begins at 1 PM.  Sponsored by the Sons of Veterans Reserve of Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War.

Preceding the parade, a memorial ceremony and wreath laying is held on Benners Hill by the members of the 4th Maryland Light Artillery and Carpenter's Battery.

15th Annual Remembrance Illumination in the Soldiers' National Cemetery in Gettysburg, 5:30 - 9:30 PM.  More than 3,500 luminary candles are placed on the graves in the Civil War section of the Soldiers' National Cemetery as a testament to the sacrifices made on this battlefield in 1863.  Sponsored by the Gettysburg Foundation.
